Product certification is one of the conformity assessment services that the Somali Bureau of Standards (SOBS) provides to industries in order to ensure that a product that has passed all performance and quality assurance tests and meets the requirements of the set standard is issued with a quality mark.
Somali Bureau of Standards provides product marks and Product certification.
A product certification mark is found on the product or its packaging as well as the certificate issued by the Somali Bureau of Standards.
The mark is aligned with the product serial number against which the product has been certified.
