The Somali Bureau of Standards (SoBS) is the sole service provider for Standards Certification to industry in Somalia. Certification refers to confirmation that products, processes or systems meet the requirements of a standard or specification.

Product certification confirms that a product complies with the requirements of an applicable Somali Standard. Certified products may carry the SoBS quality mark, demonstrating their compliance to buyers and consumers.
