Standards & Quality Control Act — Official Gazette Notice

The Federal Government of Somalia officially gazetted the Standards and Quality Control Act, formally establishing the Somali Bureau of Standards (SoBS) as the country's national standards and quality infrastructure body. The Act sets out SoBS's mandate over standardization, metrology, conformity assessment, and consumer protection, and provides the legal framework for the S-Mark, the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and the CBCA programme.
