Scope
Food, beverages, cosmetics and other consumable products claimed to be Halal.
Eligibility
Producers, processors and importers whose products, ingredients, handling and slaughtering practices comply with recognised Halal standards (SMIIC/OIC) and Somali requirements.
How to apply
Apply to SoBS, submit ingredient and supplier declarations, undergo Halal audit of premises and processes, laboratory verification where required, certification decision and HM licence with periodic surveillance.
